An initial meeting with the couple at her home office. She is available
to meet during day, evening and weekend hours. This meeting gives
couples an opportunity to meet her and to get to know her.
At this initial meeting, Rev. Barbara provides each couple with a
special Ceremony Booklet which contains a wide variety of
possible ceremony content. Using this Booklet as a starting point,
Rev. Barbara works with each couple to create their personalized ceremony.
The Ceremony Booklet includes numerous suggestions for Convocations/Opening
Words, Invocations/Opening Prayers, Recognition of family/loved ones,
Messages to the couple, Special Readings, Vows, Ring Exchange,
Candle Lighting Rituals, Family Rose Rituals, etc.
Rev. Barbara is happy to meet with couples as often as they like to
create their perfect ceremony.
She provides a Ceremony Program Outline and detailed outlines for
musicians, soloists and readers.
Rev. Barbara
attends rehearsals whenever possible. If that is not possible, she
provides personalized rehearsal scripts. Besides performing
the ceremony, Rev. Barbara handles all the legal requirements related
to the marriage license and witnesses.
